Position – Territory Sales Manager, New Brunswick & PEI

About the Job:

The TSM will be responsible for driving business development activities by increasing the sales of our products and services to new and existing customers.    The incumbent will be results oriented, optimistic and recognized for their leadership, product expertise, and commitment to providing business solutions to meet our customers’ needs.

Responsibility:

  • In collaboration with the Management Team, develop a sales strategy and execute to achieve annual sales objectives
  • Develop and make presentations of company products and services.
  • Develop and maintain current customer information, sales activity, tasks and opportunities on a daily basis through our CRM Program
  • Attend trade shows and business related functions
  • Develop and implement annual sales plan with each assigned account
  • Prospect at all levels of distribution for new business
  • Participate in regional projects-changeovers, warehouse moves, blitzes, etc.

Requirement:     Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree a plus
  • Three plus years of sales experience or equivalent industry experience
  • Must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Valid Driver’s License-history record required
  • Ability to travel within and outside of Canada

Skills

  • High level of business acumen
  • Self-starter who can develop account strategy, drive sales, negotiate agreements, with special emphasis on closing the sales
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including formal presentation skills to small and large groups
  • Strong time management skills
